Joshua A. Brink, D.D.S.
Pediatric Dentist
Joshua A. Brink, D.D.S. is a life-long Mid-Southerner and has been a part of the dental community since 1997.
He feels that “Treating children is the best possible opportunity in dentistry.
Working with kids—who will say anything—creates a joyful and refreshing experience, and it allows us to develop life-long relationships with multiple generations in the family.
Families are the core of our society, and we are privileged to be a part.”
Education
Dr. Josh spent his high school days at Evangelical Christian School, graduating in 1992.
In preparation for his future as a pediatric dentist, he obtained his undergraduate degree from Wheaton College, where he majored in business and economics with an emphasis in health care professions.
Upon graduation from the University of Tennessee, Memphis Dental School in 2001, Dr. Josh was awarded the Pediatric Dentistry Award and the Fixed Prosthodontic Award.
Board-Certified
After completion of dental school, Dr. Josh entered pediatric residency in Memphis, which he completed in 2003.
Dr. Josh is board-certified in pediatric Dentistry and is a fellow and diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
These qualifications allow him to specialize in pediatric dentistry.
Additional Training
Additional qualifications include PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification, conscious sedation certification (for the use of oral sedation for our apprehensive patients), and completion of the Clinical Modification of Dentofacial Development program (provides him past and yearly training in orthodontics for our patients that need a pediatric approach to their orthodontic needs).
Additionally, Dr. Josh has operating room privileges at LeBonheur East Surgery Center to offer outpatient general anesthesia as an option for our underage/anxious patients. Professionally, Dr. Josh serves as:

Outside the Office
Dr. Josh and his wife, Lissa, have four school-age children: Aaron, Noelle, Susanna, and John Mark. They are active members of Riveroaks Reformed Presbyterian Church.
In his spare time, Dr. Josh enjoys working in the yard, gardening, exercising at the Iron Tribe Fitness gym, traveling out West to hike ‘14ers and snow ski, and reading biographies, theology, best-sellers, and adventure novels.
He is an avid University of Michigan football fan and roots on the Memphis Grizzlies with his kids at every opportunity!
