Jason E. White, D.D.S.

Pediatric Dentist

Dr. Jason White, DDS is excited to be back as a partner with the practice.

Dr. Jason spent five years working with Dr. Josh as a general dentist before returning to get specialty training through a residency in pediatric dentistry with the University of Tennessee.

He loves the fast pace of our pediatric practice, saying, “Every day in pediatric dentistry is an adventure. I love the way kids keep you on your toes!

Education

Dr. Jason attended high school at Evangelical Christian School where he played both football and baseball. He then attended Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama for his undergraduate studies.

At Samford, Dr. Jason majored in mathematics (yes, he’s one of those people!) and even taught high school geometry for a year before starting dental school.

For dental school, Dr. Jason came back to his hometown and attended the University of Tennessee where he was the recipient of the Pediatric Dentistry Alumni Association Award. And upon graduation, Dr. Jason worked for six years in both the office of Dr. Josh and the office of Dr. Chuck Hughes in Dyersburg, TN.

But, the calling to return for more training in pediatric dentistry led Dr. Jason to leave private practice for two years to join the graduate pediatric dental residency program at the University of Tennessee.

While there, Dr. Jason served as the chief resident of the program and received a Masters of Dental Science degree.

Dr. Jason has received training on conscious sedation (to be able to help your little ones through an anxious procedure), hospital dentistry, and has PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) training.

Outside the Office

Dr. Jason is married to his high school sweetheart, Stacey, and they have two amazing kids: Tucker (2003) and Collier Jane (2007).

He and his family are members of Collierville First Baptist Church where Dr. Jason teaches an adult Bible Fellowship Class and serves as a deacon.

Dr. Jason enjoys coaching youth sports and playing sports himself (he’ll play anything!).

When he does find some free time, Dr. Jason enjoys spending time with his large extended family, attending Ole Miss games, watching movies, and reading anything from novels to books on theology and apologetics.
