Appointments

When scheduling appointments, we attempt to accommodate your schedule whenever possible. We have found that children with extensive work to be performed and/or preschool children typically do respond better earlier in the morning when they are well-rested.

We always want our patients to have the most positive visit possible! Some appointments may require that your child miss some school; however, with continued care these during-school appointments can be kept to a minimum.

Missed Appointment Policy

Brink & White is committed to providing quality care to all of our patients in a timely manner. No-show, late arrival, and canceled appointments inconvenience not only our providers but our other patients as well. Please be aware of our policy regarding failed appointments.

COVID 19 has had many effects worldwide, and dentistry is truly included. You will see a lot of changes in the way we perform dentistry over the coming months and the foreseeable future. We want to assure you we are working hard to develop a process that helps keep you, your child, our staff, and doctors safe.

In saying that, we will have reduced appointment availability for a time moving forward. With this reduction of possible appointment times and the number of patients that need to be seen, reserved appointments are going to be much more difficult to obtain.

Simply said, we expect higher demand with lower availability. This combination could lead to a delay in access to an appointment time that meets the patient’s needs, especially when there is a reappointment request. Moving an appointment may result in placing the patient into a queue for the next availability without immediately reappointing.

When you book your appointment, you are holding a space on our calendar that is no longer available to our other patients. In order to be respectful of your fellow patients, please call our office as soon as you know you will not be able to make your appointment. If cancellation is necessary, we require that you call the office at least 24 hours in advance.

We will also REQUIRE a 24 HOUR CONFIRMATION in order to confirm your upcoming reserved time. Please make sure to provide us with your preferred method of communication so that we can easily acquire the confirmation (phone number, email, text).

If we are cannot get your confirmation, we will have to double-book your appointment. This could result in you being asked to reappoint even if you arrive for the unconfirmed visit.

We will do our best, if possible, to work you in. However, due to the changes in dentistry, it is uncertain if we will be able to do so.
